Parsley is one of those super-cleansing greens that most people don’t think to incorporate into their favorite juice recipes. Beets are also amazing for cleaning and improving circulation if you are trying a detox-juicing program. However this combo is one that you should either mix with other veggies to dilute the recipe a bit, or you can make this into a 2 to 4 ounce cleanse shot.
Here are ingredients if making a 2-4 ounce health shot:
- ½ beet
- 1 handful of parsley
Clean and prepare the beet as you normally would and what fits best in your juicer. Clean thoroughly the parsley. Put the parsley in your juicer first, followed by the beet to push through as much of the parsley juice as possible. Again, this is meant to be just a health shot as its pretty potent combo for most people.
