Green Juice for weight loss is a great low calorie, nutrient dense juice that helps keep your appetite under control and thus helping accomplish your weight loss goals.  Another great perk to green juice recipes is they are great for your skin and for detoxification.

Here is a great Green juice recipe to get you started on the right track:

Ingredients:

  • 2 medium cucumbers
  • 4 large stalks of green kale
  • 3 stalks of celery
  • 1 green apple
  • 2 large handfuls of spinach
  • ¼ of a lemon

Directions:

Begin with the kale and spinach as they are not as productive so the later vegetables and apple help push through because of the higher water content.  Next follow these with the celery.  Then the apple and cucucumber in any order you like.  Finish of with a squeeze of lemon into finished juice or put a few lemon slices through the juicer, fruit only not skin.

The sweetness and tartness of the apple will help offset the bitterness of the kale and celery while also helping to mask some of the just “green” tasting veggies. This is a fantastic way compliment any fast burning diet as it will flood your body with nutrition and help keep you full for hours.
