Metabolism Boosting Juicing Recipes to Help You Shed Pounds!

After years upon years of eating processed foods, your metabolism can take a significant hit, making it even harder to lose weight even once you start eating healthy. Juicing for weight loss can not only clear your body of the toxins that have been accumulating over the years, but also rev your metabolism, getting it back to optimal performance. Here are some of our favorite belly fat busting (and most delicious) recipes!

The Metabolism Jump Starter

  • 4 large carrots
  • 1 stalks celery
  • 1 green apple
  • 1 cup spinach
  • Juice of one lemon
  • ¼ teaspoon cinnamon

Run everything through a juicer, and flavor with lemon juice and cinnamon. You can either peel the lemon and juice as usual with the other ingredients or squeeze and add cinnamon to finished juice and stir. If the mixture is a bit too tart with the lemon you can, thin it out with purified, cold water.

The Metabolism Zinger

  • 2 green apples
  • 2 pears
  • 1 centimeter of fresh ginger, peeled

Juice everything, If this recipe is a little too tart for you, you can thin it out with pure, cold water if necessary. Just add a little at a time until your desired taste. For an added boost, squeeze some lemon juice in there!
